Description:
- The TP&O Team is a developing group within PIC.
- The Commercial TPM Manager is a new role within PIC, joining a newly formed team called Third Party & Outsourcing. The role will report to the Head of TPO and will sit within the Business Services. The role will be integral to supporting the business in managing and monitoring their Third-Party relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provides expertise, guidance and co-ordination of activities in respect of Third-Party suppliers:
- Responsible for performance management of critical and high risk third-party relationships, deploying strategies to extract excellent performance, as required.
- Establish and implement a regular cadence of reviews for critical and high-rated third parties, where there are Identified gaps.
- Support the evolution of the TPM (Third Party Management) performance management framework, covering internal and external dimensions, including:
- External performance management guidelines and templates by third-party category (customer, IT, Investments, etc.)
- Hold third parties to account on performance, Including critical reviews of resourcing levels and capability.
- Manage contract reviews and make recommendations for contract changes
- Provide commercial tension to third parties and PIC ROs, as required.
- Drive continuous improvement of third-party performance.
- Actively support embedded critical and high review processes run by the business.
- Co-ordinate the TPM Forum
- Escalate issues to the TPM Forum, and/or the Relationship Owner, as required
- Attend the Architectural Board to determine any impact to third parties.
- Make recommendations to the performance management framework, related governance activities, third party selection and on-boarding processes.
- Drive value from PIC contracts by establishing and implementing robust performance management approaches with third parties and, across the PIC TPM landscape.
- Recommend contractual changes to support service evolution during contract reviews (In coordination with legal, ROs and other stakeholders) for the same critical and high-risk third parties.
- Establish and support ongoing market benchmarking to set targets across the performance management framework.
- Create additional value, e.g. by consolidation of third parties, cost comparisons to market benchmarks, etc.
