About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated & analytical Actuarial Manager with excellent relationship and people skills to join our high performing Actuarial & Pricing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified Actuary looking to take the next step.
This role is project based and delivers on the businesses desired outcomes, rather than a traditional Actuarial role.

Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading Ando’s Actuarial function and managing one direct report.
  • Coaching, developing, and motivating the team to achieve business goals, ensure workload efficiency, and deliver development goals.
  • Working with the wider business to ensure Ando actuarial services align with business goals and strategies.
  • Playing an active role in the development of Ando’s performance, systems and process and capability development framework.
  • Enhancing Ando’s engagement with reinsurance partners, underwriting partners and service providers (such as catastrophe modellers and reinsurance brokers).

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you ideally will have:

  • completed or nearly completed your Actuarial fellowship.
  • Existing leadership or coaching experience.
  • Experience collaborating pro-actively with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • A great attitude and will be a good human!
