Role Overview:
Are you ready to drive commercial success in the dynamic field of infrastructure development? We’re seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations and ensure the success of our projects. With your expertise and strategic vision, you’ll play a pivotal role in maximising profitability and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Lead the negotiation, review, and management of contracts to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the financial viability of our projects.
  • Cost Control: Implement robust cost control measures to optimize project budgets and minimize expenses. Your strategic approach will contribute to maximizing profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Revenue Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance project revenue through value engineering, change management, and contract variations. Your ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining client satisfaction will be instrumental in our success.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to assess project viability and identify financial risks and opportunities. Your insights will support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Claims Management: Effectively manage claims and disputes to protect our interests and minimize financial liabilities. Your proactive approach will help safeguard project profitability and reputation.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Front-end / pre-contracts commercial management
  • Extensive experience with diverse contract models including D&C, ITC, and alliance contracts
  • Proven track record in pre-contracts and delivery for projects valued at $1 billion or more
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and negotiating pre-contracts in large-scale projects
  • Strong understanding of various contract models and their applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, or Finance
