What You’ll Do: As a Commercial Services Premium Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing premium audit reports for several types of commercial insurance policies, alerting the underwriting staff to significant findings and updating those policies according to the results of their premium audits. You will also answer phone calls from our agency force and our client/members regarding premium audit questions. In this role, you will spend the majority of your day analyzing premium audit reports and communicating your findings through writing. You’ll also enter updates to policies based on those audit reports, adhering to established guidelines and underwriting instructions. As a Commercial Services Premium Auditor, you will provide quality service to Farm Bureau’s Commercial and Ag Desk Underwriters by creating and maintaining positive relationships, while providing prompt service and education to our Underwriting staff, agency force, and client/members.
On average, we believe it takes over a year to develop a successful Commercial Services Premium Auditor. You bring the drive, desire, attention to detail and “can-do, will-do” attitude, and we will invest in you through in-house training and sponsored industry education, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring.
