EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Several years of work experience as Electrical Service Technician or Auto Electrician
• Electrical system education and passion
• Experience with project commissioning and international projects is a plus
• Proficient in software installation and configuration
• Interest in vehicle controllers, customer and application specific installations, software development and WiFi and LTE networks
• Exited to bring Industry 4.0 into real live Mining Equipment

• Planning customer site installation jobs from scheduling activities with customers all the way to getting parts, materials and sub-contractors in line to deliver the job
• Manage timelines and delivery dates for entire technical installations projects
• Hands-on installation of safety and productivity solutions like Vehicle Intervention Control for Collision Avoidance or Data Loggers via discrete or CAN bus data interfaces and LTE or WiFi Networks for mobile data collection
• Training of local installation crews in case of big fleet installations
• Maintaining customer focussed relationships and understanding for customer requirements, engaging the back-end team to deliver the best possible project result
• Functional validation of installations and handover of solution to customers
• Close collaboration with South African back-end tea
