Description:

Job Description
As a Commissioning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning of maritime vessels and related systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that all maritime projects are commissioned efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Other key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing comprehensive commissioning plans for maritime projects, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align commissioning activities with project schedules.
  • Ensuring that commissioning activities meet or exceed industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Implementing quality control measures and conduct inspections to verify the integrity of systems and components.
  • Maintaining accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results, inspection reports, and documentation of system configurations.
  • Generating commissioning reports to communicate progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering).
  • Proven experience in commissioning maritime or oil & gas vessels, systems, or equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of either maritime/oil & gas industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in using commissioning tools, software and equipment.
  • Safety-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
