Description:

In this project you’ll contact with the European stock market area and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that knows the importance of surveillance issues. Despite its development center being located in Porto and all administrative support in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across several European cities.
We are looking for a Common Message Hub Manager to work in a project in Porto (hybrid).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master or equivalent level obtained through working experience;
  • Relevant IT education;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading an IT Operations department in a large scale company, where operations were critical and preferably regulated;
  • Broad knowledge about IT operations and ITSM processes;
  • Able to work in complex and regulated environments;
  • Architectural and/or developer background.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the Common Message Hub (CMH) team;
  • Responsible for the CMH (Incentage) daily operation (2. Line support);
  • Responsible for the CMH maintenance in accordance to new business requirements;
  • Deliver an obsolescence plan;
  • Build and maintain roadmap for the CMH to support convergence plans;
  • Support for the similar tasks as for CMH on the messaging within SWIFT and MQ when needed;
  • In cooperation with the other teams in the department align with strategy by developing and delivering upon the Strategy;
  • Composing team with the adequate capacity, competencies and experience levels to handle the responsibility of the team;
  • Ensuring the availability and consistency of clear processes, procedures, best practices and the necessary tools for efficient work throughout the team and in alignment with relevant stakeholders;
  • Ensuring the quality and the continuous improvement of the processes and procedures owned by the team through control and evaluation;
  • Identifying, reporting and properly mitigating risks concerning the domain of the team;
  • In cooperation with the People department and the employees to organize plans for personal development and responsibilities that can contribute to employee satisfaction and retention;
  • Developing the employees through management and leadership in order to create a performing culture and motivate individual contributions;
  • Ensure proper IT governance for outsourced services with suppliers within the responsibility of the team.
