Description:

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VACANCY REQUIRES THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO WORK 25 HOURS PER WEEK, 38 WEEKS DURING TERM TIME WITH A PRO-RATA SALARY OF £12,195.98 PER ANNUM.

Payment for 6.6 weeks pro rata, £2,118.25 will be paid equally in your twelve monthly salary payments in addition to the advertised pro rata salary**
EKC Group are seeking a Communication Support Practitioner to join the Group. As a Communication Support Practitioner you will provide British Sign Language signing and learning support to students on programmes of study and/or courses.
You will use a range of support strategies to select and adapt tasks, resources and learning activities, to encourage and motivate students working in conjunction with ALS tutors and to undertake with teaching staff EHCP In-Year Reviews for students with hearing impairment and attend/support communication in Annual Reviews.
