PLEASE NOTE: CCS HAS SUBMITTED A FUNDING PROPOSAL FOR SUMMER STUDENT HIRING. WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING TO BUILD OUR APPLICANT POOL FOR POSITIONS WE INTEND TO HIRE. OUR ABILITY TO HIRE FOR THIS POSITION IS CONDITIONAL UPON US SECURING APPROVAL FOR THE FUNDING. SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WITH BE CONTACTED IN APRIL FOR INTERVIEWS.

We are currently accepting applications for summer students interested in working as a Communication & Marketing Specialist.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW/HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
An understanding of social media strategies and media relations.
Above-average knowledge of various social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
Location: Toronto, ON
Hours: 35 per week, occasional weekends and evenings may be required.
Compensation: $16.55 per hour

Responsibilities:

Helping to implement internal and external communications strategies and projects
Providing administrative/outreach support to internal teams
Drafting and posting social media and web content according to the company’s social media strategy
Drafting and copy editing highlights/ news stories of CCS programs
Help Projects Lead with the Annual General Meeting and its communication
