What you will be working on

  • Execute key research projects for the Media and Publicity department, in accordance to strategic communications’ objectives.
  • Manage external vendors for end-to-end research projects, including briefs, procurement, questionnaire/research design, fieldwork and data collection processes.
  • Apply appropriate methodologies to address research objectives and assist with reporting to senior management when required.
  • Enhance the depth and precision of insights derived from external vendors by triangulating their reports and analyses with diverse data sources, including user and secondary research, as well as digital marketing analytics. This comprehensive approach help address the Board’s branding and digital marketing objectives.
  • Assist to source for both primary and secondary research opportunities to collect necessary data points that can help enhance cross-channel marketing/personalisation efforts fronted by the Performance, Insights and Optimisation Team.
  • Assist with conducting exploratory research for new projects and audience segments, primarily for performance marketing and email marketing channel management requirements.
  • Facilitate the sharing process and identify valuable datasets and findings from externally conducted research and data projects, ensuring efficient dissemination to key stakeholders.
  • Oversee and curate the research knowledge repository for the team, ensuring organized and accessible storage of valuable research insights and resources.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in marketing research, preferably with experience specific to opinion polling/brand sentiment projects, and/or experience specific to digital marketing projects.
  • Proficient in overseeing the entire lifecycle of research projects, from gathering initial requirements to presenting comprehensive findings to management.
  • Possess strong stakeholder management and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Skilled in data visualization and storytelling, with the ability to transform complex data into clear, impactful, and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills, coupled with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player with a keen eye for details; highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Preference for familiarity with digital marketing concepts and strategies, especially in integrating marketing research insights with marketing analytics. This proficiency is crucial for advancing sustainable personalization efforts and gaining deeper insights into CPF members’ needs and preferences for CPF communications.
  • Preferred experience in utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methods. While not mandatory, possessing a solid understanding of behavioral insights and other business intelligence methods would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in utilizing data analytical tools (e.g., R Studio, SAS, Excel) for insights generation, as well as data visualization tools (such as Power BI or Google Data Studio). Consideration will also be given for experience in social listening insights and digital/content analytics.
  • A grasp of the insurance and financial industries or current affairs would be beneficial.

  • Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, subject to confirmation. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position
