The Communications Specialist/Expert is a new role created to drive key communication activates to support the implementation of our new ERP system, also called project Phoenix (ERP D365 implementation) at AGC Biologics. The Communications Specialist/Expert will have the responsibility to drive effective and impactful change communications with consistent messaging based on the project Phoenix Story for Change to ensure a successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute proactive and effective communication plans to positively influence our team members’ understanding of and engagement with the project Phoenix.
  • Create high quality communication content that translates complex ideas into compelling and straightforward language with the appropriate tone of voice to inspire the desired action and behaviors.
  • Deliver the right communication to the right people at the right time through the right channels by the right role.

Content Development to drive adoption: Create excellent written and visual content, including newsletters, email announcements, blog posts, presentations, and digital assets (photos, videos, PDFs, audio files, storytelling animation, etc.) to communicate change initiatives, updates, and benefits based on audience need.
Communication Channels: Utilize a variety of communication channels and platforms, such as SharePoint, Actimo, MS Viva Engage, email, digital signage, monitors, posters, events, etc. to effectively deliver change-related information timely and foster engagement among stakeholders.
Change Campaigns: Plan and execute communication campaigns to promote awareness, build excitement, and drive adoption, utilizing creative and innovative approaches to engage key stakeholders.
Feedback Mechanisms: Use ADKAR surveys to gather input and insights from stakeholders regarding the effectiveness of communication activities and channels and incorporate feedback to continuously improve.
Training Support: Collaborate with the training team to develop communication materials and resources to support training efforts, ensuring users are informed and prepared for changes to systems, processes, and tools.
Partnership: Work with the Change Manager to support execution of project Phoenix Change Management Strategy and Plan. Work with the Internal Communications team to ensure internal alignment with AGC Biologics goals and wider organizational messaging. Build strong work relationships with the entire project Phoenix Core Team and all other internal stakeholders through effective communication.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role ideally you will have:

  • Degree in Communications and/or English or comparable.
  • 3-5+ years employee communications experience, either in an internal or consulting role.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into everyday language and proven ability to write compelling, polished copy across multiple media for varying audiences and based on feedback from multiple sources.
  • Resolve issues independently; thrive in a global team environment that works iteratively.
  • Curious, self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
  • Trusted SharePoint consultant capable of designing and developing appropriate digital communication assets to ensure employee engagement.
  • Video production, photos, pdf, audio files, storytelling animation and other digital assets skills and expertise.
  • Responsible for communication and change campaigns and events, like kick-offs, launches, off-sites and workshops.
  • Ongoing drive to learn new techniques and trends in digital storytelling, design, technology, and social media.
  • Exposure to working in a global project on company transformations, IT implementations or similar change projects.
  • Interested in growing change management consulting skills.
  • Prosci Change Management training/certification is a plus.
