We are welcoming applications for the role of Communications Advisor in a fixed term capacity.
Reporting to the Manager - Communications, our high-performing, busy team is looking for a Communications Advisor to work with teams across the Office of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu and Papatipu Rūnanga, telling stories and creating communications for internal and external audiences.
Ngāi Tahu is a highly reputable, thriving iwi organisation, striving to enrich the lives of current and future generations. We have many compelling stories to tell internally and externally, a diverse and interesting audience, and plenty of exciting communications projects coming our way.
This role covers a wide scope, including providing corporate communications advice and support, handling media enquiries, creating and implementing communications plans, coordinating projects, managing social media, building and managing complex relationships, and writing engaging content for multiple channels.
The Office of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu is a dynamic organisation that exists to ensure that the benefits of the Settlement are enjoyed by Ngāi Tahu whānui now and for future generations - “Mō tātou, ā, mō kā uri ā muri ake nei” ("For us and our children after us").
