Description:

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Are you a skilled and experienced digital communicator looking for an opportunity to help build a better Toronto for all? Are you a keen strategic thinker with an exceptional attention to detail? Are you a dedicated and skilled team player looking for a new challenge with a high profile public sector organization?
We are currently looking for a Communications Consultant to serve on our Digital, Brand and Design team. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Digital, Brand and Design, and provide digital administration, web management and communications services to support Toronto Community Housing’s strategic communications objectives and business priorities. You will liaise with management and external stakeholders on high-profile projects in a manner that supports TCHC’s tenant focused culture.
This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall technical and content administration of our current website platform, liaising with corporate divisions, project leads and unit managers

  • Creating and overseeing digital assets, folders and users
  • Provide overall troubleshooting and investigating opportunities to improve the process or functionality on the website
  • Quality control on links, images and other assets across all platforms, ensuring they are current and active and archiving older content
  • Updating the TCHC Website Administrator Guide and other website governance documentation
  • Provide counsel and support to executive, managers and staff with respect to digital media and other communications initiatives
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts and proactively identify communications opportunities.
  • Represent Toronto Community Housing with community agencies and private sector partners in planning and executing joint communications
  • Represent Toronto Community Housing interests with various stakeholders, including community agencies, tenants, the public and the media
