The Position

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - COMMUNICATIONS

  • Develop & implement internal communication strategies to effectively communicate Roche Pharma Technical Operations site story in Mississauga.
  • Support site communications to keep employees apprised of site initiatives, priorities, and events.
  • Create and manage PT Mississauga site communications content and flow for internal communication channels, including Town Halls, internal Gsites, newsletters, presentations, speaking points, infographics etc.) and support community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across various PT functions in Mississauga to align messaging and approaches, co-creating content and enabling employee engagement opportunities.
  • Support special projects or visits by Global Visitors with coordination, project management and content creation. Manage logistics, calendar invites etc.
  • Member of site Communications Squad working collaboratively on site communication strategy, initiatives and content.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - FUTUREWORKS

  • Lead (with limited supervision) or participate in communication initiatives and support activities by providing subject matter expertise.
  • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Utilize and build on your experience in hands-on Pharma Technical Operations project management, organizational skills, interacting with supporting specialists.
  • Practice self management, time management and individual goal setting throughout the duration of project work. Work with PT mentors to further develop long-term career goals.
  • Actively looking for opportunities to continuously improve the FutureWorks working model.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Communications related internships or work experience preferred.
  • Communications experience with strong writing skills and passion for content creation.
  • Experience writing across different channels and mediums.
  • Creative, resourceful and problem-solver.
  • Ability to network across various functional teams.
  • Experience in HTML preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple work streams and priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • Interest in the healthcare industry.
  • Fluency in French would be an advantage.
  • Must be available to work full-time (35 hours per week) during 8 months.
  • Strong attention to detail including the ability to accomplish a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved.
  • Learner level project management, including understanding of life cycle planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner.
  • Proven critical thinking and creativity skills; solve problems by applying technical and functional experiences.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

The Analyst is part of the Pharma Technical Operations team based in Mississauga (PT Mississauga) and will work closely with stakeholders across Pharma functions.
This is a twelve month contract position that offers early career entrants exposure to the core Technical Operations vital to manufacturing Roche medicines. The PT analysts have a chance to design and implement new processes; develop project management expertise, utilize new technologies to drive business productivity and profitability.

PT analysts experience agile working in various project assignments and rotations, gaining a broad perspective of communications. Assignments and projects are available in all areas of PT including and not limited to:

  • Global Supply Chain
  • Regulatory
  • Quality
  • Biologics Manufacturing
  • Strategy & Engineering
  • Technical Development
