We’re currently seeking a Communications Manager to join our General Secretary Group in Sydney, Australia. This pivotal role involves overseeing internal communications across Australia and New Zealand, as well as supporting external communications. You’ll have the opportunity to foster meaningful relationships both within Danone and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent Management of Internal Communications: Take charge of the internal communications program across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Media Relations and Press Releases: Handle press releases and serve as the primary point of contact when interacting with the media.
  • Creative Content Generation: Create engaging content, both in traditional formats and digitally.
  • Event Coordination and Enhancement: Collaborate closely with HR and other internal stakeholders to organise and manage internal events (such as the annual company conference and milestone celebrations) that enhance our employee value proposition.
  • Global and Regional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with global and regional internal stakeholders, as well as relevant charities and nonprofit organisations, to further our sustainability and broader corporate social responsibility commitments.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with media stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Provide detailed monthly reports and handle ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external purposes.
