Job Description
As the Communications Manager working within a consultancy environment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the communications strategy for our clients within the private and public sector and supporting user adoption of change programmes. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, managing media relations, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. For some projects, this role may require travel to various UK locations to engage with our customers, their stakeholders and users.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of our clients and their digital products
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the project or product
  • Create engaging content including articles, video messages, blog posts, social media posts, and presentations to effectively communicate our customers’ goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency across all communications channels
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the client, wider stakeholders, user groups and the project delivery teams
  • Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and regulatory changes relevant to the client’s sector and provide strategic guidance to leadership where appropriate
  • Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and workshops to showcase the digital changes and support user adoption of them
  • Track and analyse metrics to measure the effectiveness of communications efforts and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in public-sector communications
