Saint Catherine’s Hospice, based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Communications and Marketing Officer.

The Role:

As our Communications and Marketing Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping the narrative surrounding hospice and palliative care. Reporting to our newly appointed Head of Income Generation, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive Awareness: Contribute to the development and execution of our communication strategy to elevate local awareness of Saint Catherine’s. You’ll be instrumental in boosting internal cohesion while advocating for hospice and palliative care on both regional and national platforms.
  • Challenge Perceptions: Expand community understanding of hospice services by dispelling myths and misconceptions. Forge partnerships with media outlets and professionals to amplify our message and reach those who need our support the most.
  • Promote our Identity: Safeguard and promote the hospice’s brand identity through strategic communication initiatives. Utilise diverse channels to engage with our supporters, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring mutual information sharing and fostering strong relationships.
