Description:

JOB SUMMARY: The Communications Specialist’s primary objective is to develop and implement a strategy to effectively communicate Our Etnyre Way Values, Mission, Vision, Strategy, Purpose beyond profit, and overall business and culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications and 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva or comparable software.
  • Ability to understand complex concepts and articulate to an uninformed audience in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve communication challenges.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to align with organizational goals and values.
  • Increase employee engagement through creative and fun outreaches such as polls, trivia, contests, etc.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external communications including organizational announcements, press releases, member recognition, company events, and major business initiatives.
  • Provide support for company events including planning, promotion, and execution.
  • Create visually engaging communication materials such as signs, digital postings, videos, newsletters.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and councils to gather content and ensure accurate representation and communication of company initiatives.
  • Manage multiple media platforms to communicate with employees including but not limited to digital TV boards, email blasts, our company intranet, social media, and semiannual newsletter.
  • Act as spokesperson for community events and as primary point of contact for external media inquiries.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
