Description:
JOB SUMMARY: The Communications Specialist’s primary objective is to develop and implement a strategy to effectively communicate Our Etnyre Way Values, Mission, Vision, Strategy, Purpose beyond profit, and overall business and culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications and 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva or comparable software.
- Ability to understand complex concepts and articulate to an uninformed audience in an easy-to-understand format.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve communication challenges.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to align with organizational goals and values.
- Increase employee engagement through creative and fun outreaches such as polls, trivia, contests, etc.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external communications including organizational announcements, press releases, member recognition, company events, and major business initiatives.
- Provide support for company events including planning, promotion, and execution.
- Create visually engaging communication materials such as signs, digital postings, videos, newsletters.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and councils to gather content and ensure accurate representation and communication of company initiatives.
- Manage multiple media platforms to communicate with employees including but not limited to digital TV boards, email blasts, our company intranet, social media, and semiannual newsletter.
- Act as spokesperson for community events and as primary point of contact for external media inquiries.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
