Description:

CARE TO JOIN US?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Communications team. This role helps us communicate with our employees, the public and the local community and ensure that Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is held in high regard.

ABOUT US

At Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, our commitment to care unites us. We’re driven to improve care and outcomes through inspired and world-leading healthcare solutions.
Our story began more than 50 years ago, when one doctor and two engineers designed a better way to care. Today, we are a thriving global business, and our products make a difference to thousands of patients every day. To keep delivering higher levels of care, we invest in good people who want to make a positive lasting impact.
People like you, who care to make a difference.
In return, we’ll do all we can to make a difference to you, your work life and your career.
We foster an inclusive work environment founded on our culture of care and collaboration. Here you’ll have the trust and support to generate ideas, solve problems and do your best work.
We believe in giving you every opportunity to learn, grow and advance toward your full potential, and rewarding you for your contribution to our success.
We offer the scale that comes with working for one of New Zealand’s largest employers, with lots of benefits – like paid parental leave, school holiday programme subsidies, on-site electric vehicle charging, free parking, and delicious low-cost lunches on a beautifully landscaped campus designed to enhance wellbeing. Our employee-led groups to support women in technical roles, Māori development, the LGBTQI+ community, the South Auckland community and active social clubs also enrich the lives of our people and nurture an inclusive culture based on trust and respect.

Responsibilities:

Working within the broader Corporate Affairs team, you will work with lots of people to research and tell engaging stories for our intranet, website and other digital platforms. You’ll also support the team to plan and execute internal and external events and work with graphic designers to produce corporate communications that are on-brand.
