ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a Communications Specialist with these skills:

  • Tertiary qualified in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or similar with 3+ years demonstrated experience
  • Ability to identify content leads, think creatively, generate story ideas and develop compelling content
  • A strong understanding of local and national media outlets, ability to build media relationships and identify proactive media opportunities
  • An ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholder groups including media, health networks, medical professionals (researchers, clinicians, nurses), patients and donors
  • Sound knowledge of digital communication and marketing platforms, including websites and social media scheduling platforms
  • Team player with a mission focus, motivated by making a real difference.
