Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Community and Program Facilitator is responsible for facilitating and delivering community and program development opportunities, in conjunction with citizens and community organizations. This position fosters “participation and exposure to recreation, parks or culture opportunities that are accessible to residents and that enhance the quality of life in the city of Red Deer. This position fosters public participation and exposure to The City’s natural areas through collaborative programming opportunities. Working directly with community groups (ex. Community Associations, Waskasoo Environmental Education Society, and Red Deer River Watershed Alliance), the Community and Program Facilitator will support capacity building initiatives encouraging residents to actively participate with the natural environment and promote activations within the Parks system.
