Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our team at KCR for an exciting 8-week Summer Youth Works position, catering to individuals aged 30 and under. Work collaboratively with the Community Services Team to provide vital community information and referral supports across the Central Okanagan. As the Community Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Volunteer Centre and engaging in community outreach initiatives.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Communications & Development Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary Education in business, marketing, non-profit management, human resources, education, social sciences, or similar field of study preferred
- Experience volunteering and/or working with volunteers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent social media skills
- Experience in resource development
- Experience engaging with the public and/or providing customer service
