JOB TITLE: COMMUNITY DOMESTIC SUPERVISOR

Reference: 90897
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Pay Grade: AfC Band 3 - £22,816 - £ 24,336 per annum pro rota
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Supervisor to join our team on a Permanent basis. This position is well-suited to someone that is a great communicator who can get the best out of their people and someone that is looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Qualification or evidence of working towards Level 3, City and Guilds or equivalent in related field.
  • Knowledge of current legislation (COSHH, Health and Safety, Fire Regulations etc)
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of NHS Cleaning Standards
  • Experience of line management
  • Ability to make decisions, working on own initiative and prioritising workload
  • Knowledge and experience of setting and implementing staff rotas and schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of Community Domestic Assistants.
  • Implement procedures to ensure continuous development and improvement of services.
  • Ensure the current NHS standards are adhered too at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with iFM policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Infection Control to minimise the risk of Hospital Acquired Infection.
  • To assist Domestic Assistants when needed.
  • Responsible for the management of the domestic’s annual leave, public holidays etc, whilst ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor the attendance of staff and ensure the correct policies in relation to sickness/leave are adhered to at all times.
  • Conduct return to work interviews following sickness absence, carry out relevant monitoring and support stages as detailed in the appropriate policy.
