They coordinate regional plans, provide advice, monitor programs and suggest improvements based on evaluations.At the heart of our team the Community Engagement Coordinator supports volunteers to engage with their communities around fire risk reduction activities as a part of the regional and district service delivery plans for community safety, while also supervising the assessment, enhancement and reporting of education and engagement initiatives.ABOUT YOUOur ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • A tertiary qualification in social science, management and/or education and training or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in program coordination.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands.
  • Ability to build working relationships and liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
