Description:
The post holder will work with colleagues within the organisation to identify areas of pressure on George Eliot hospital services which can be addressed through working with volunteers, the voluntary sector, local people and local stakeholder groups to build stronger more resilient communities that place less pressure on the health and care system. The work of the Community Engagement Officers will align to the NHS England CORE20PLUS5 approach to tackling unfair health inequalities. The role supports the development of the Patient Experience and Involvement strategy that aims to ensure patients and local people are at the heart of everything we do
