Title: Community Health Practice Consultant
Contract: Term - 1.5 years
Hours: Full-time
Salary: $91122 - $107448 (pay range explained below)
Location: Metro Vancouver
Bargaining unit: Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC)
YOU MAY HAVE EXPERIENCE IN;
- Three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training and professional experience.
- Experience Nursing in First Nations communities
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Community Health Practice Consultant provide education, leadership and consultation on clinical practice services; orientations, trainings, and clinical competencies. And you will deliver professional nursing practice and program consultation to support the development, implementation, and management of nursing programs. As well as, you will provide oversight for the operations of projects and initiatives in the program. Additionally, you will serve as an expert resource, and provides clinical advice to the nursing staff.
To be successful in this role you will have / be:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Mid-Wives (BCCNM)
- Current certification in immunizations and communicable diseas
