  Our client is a well-established, highly reputable Aged Care Provider which strives to deliver exceptional care and support to residents in the comfort of their home.
  They currently have exciting opportunities available for motivated and experienced Personal Care Workers to join their team in the Broulee Region.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support (or similar, or willing to obtain)
• Own reliable and appropriate transport
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Or willing to obtain)
• Current Working With Children Check (Or willing to obtain)
• Criminal history check (Or willing to obtain)

• Provide safe and ethical person-centred care to residents in the community.
• Ability to identify and promptly report changes in the resident’s condition to the RN/Supervisor.
• Resilient and adaptive working alone or part of a team.
• Support community members with the following activities: Hygiene, dressing and undressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, transferring, fitting and removing appliances (e.g. compression stockings), mobility and exercise, bed making, feeding, general light to medium cleaning duties, laundry, food/drink preparation, other duties as service needs change, respite, accompany clients on appointments/shopping, limited pet care, light gardening, limited transport.
• Maintaining an accurate record of the status and well-being of residents.
• Practice safe manual handling.
• Capable of effective time management and work organisation.
