We help older adults feel confident with today’s and tomorrow’s technology as part of the biggest community of 55+.
Silber Salon is a tech startup on a mission to build solutions to uncover the power of AI to educate and empower millions of older adults globally. To achieve that, we’ve developed an AI product designed specifically for older adults called Lotti that acts as an interactive companion to simplify technology for our users. With Lotti we build confidence and proficiency and ensure that our older adult population remains integrated and engaged in a rapidly advancing digital world.
We raised a €1m pre-seed round from renowned VC funds (FJ Labs, IBB Ventures) and have launched our MVP.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Community Manager Internn or Working Student to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate community engagement, and building relationships with users. As a Community Manager, you will support our efforts to foster a vibrant and engaged online community across various platforms.

Tasks

  • Engage with the Community:
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels and community forums.
  • Foster positive interactions and build relationships with community members.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates.
  • Content Creation and Curation:
  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Curate user-generated content and share it with the community.
  • Support the development of community newsletters and other communication materials.
  • Community Growth and Development:
  • Assist in organizing and promoting in-person community events, webinars, and online meetups.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement community growth strategies.
  • Track and report on community growth metrics and engagement levels.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for sales, community building and event organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and metrics is a plus.
