Description:
CALLING ALL PRE-REGISTRATION, NEWLY QUALIFIED & QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH NURSES.
The Tower Hamlets Mental directorate have created a Band 5 Development Programme to support newly qualified nurses to build their competencies,in the community, in preparation for a B6 role & band 6 roles.
Successful candidates will be employed at Band 5 and will be supported and mentored, over a 9 to 12 month period, under a comprehensive development framework; this will include the ELFT nurse preceptorship programme. Nurses who have gradated though the development programme will be supported to apply for a Band 6 role through ring fenced interview process.
You must have experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems as part of your training and/or preregistration experience and have a commitment and genuine interest in supporting service users and carers through recovery model in the community.

To be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, participating in the provision high quality mental health care for people who present with severe and enduring mental health problem, with complex needs.
This role would ideally suit a newly qualified Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health Nurse graduates. Successful candidates will be employed at Band 5 and will be supported and mentored through both the Trust preceptorship programme and a comprehensive development learning framework, over a 9 to 12 month period. At this point, nurses will be expected to evidence that they have met the programme learning aims and will be supported to move to a Band 6 role through ring fenced interview process.
Successful candidates will work in multi-disciplinary recovery based community mental health services providing evidence-based care and treatment for all those who use the service. You will provide treatment within structured Care Pathways that ensure the best outcomes for our people who use services, with a focus on recovery and promoting independence.
You need to have experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems as part of your training and/or preregistration experience and have a commitment and genuine interest in supporting service users and carers through Recovery model in the community.
