Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Hastings and Rother Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS) for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of working with people in a community mental health setting.
Our service is a multi-disciplinary service for adults with multiple and enduring mental health needs. Our work is at times challenging, but we receive regular positive feedback from our service users and carers. Our office is right in the thick of Hastings vibrant and quirky culture and benefits from amazing sea views, with the prom right across the road. Hastings still maintains its working fishing beach, as well as the old town, castle, pier and of course the Guinness world record for the largest gathering of pirates is held by Hastings!
As a Community Mental Health Nurse in our service you will be focussed on improving outcomes for service users, working creatively with them and their families and carers to co-create care plans that will help them achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. You will also work closely with other services both within our Trust, and with other partner agencies.
This post offers the Trust’s £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
The role of Community Mental Health Nurse is to work in partnership with service users in the designated care group with multiple mental health presentations and working alongside service users to develop their care plans and recovery plans to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. You will demonstrate an understanding of clinical interventions relevant to the care group to include education, care plans and discharge planning, working closely with carers, families and partner agencies to facilitate this.
