Description:

An opportunity has arisen for experienced Registered Mental Health nurses within the Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) West of Northamptonshire based at Campbell House, Northampton.
We are looking for Mental Health nurses with demonstrable skills, enthusiasm and compassion to work with service users who have a range of complex mental health needs who is focussed on supporting service user to recover. You must have experience of working within mental health service users as a qualified practitioner.
Community Mental Health Teams aim to provide planned and effective mental health treatment alongside the service user, their carers and other services in line with the goals of the service user. The CMHT ensures service users needs are met by using mental health support services across the breadth of the community. You will be a key person to ensure this is delivered by working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
You will someone who can make a significant contribution to a service users recovery. You will be able to deliver effective and evidenced based mental health treatment to an allocated caseload of service users who will have varying levels of complexity. You will be able to manage your time effectively to ensure service users receive a high quality service and have ability to adapt to manage competing demands.
You will have ability to determine a service users needs through assessment and recovery care planning and be able to formulate robust risk management plans in conjunction with the service user and their carers.
To support you to do this, you will be a member of a CMHT, forming a multi-disciplinary team. The team includes other mental health practitioners, support workers, non-medical prescribers, medical staff, psychologists, people with lived experience, employment support workers (IPS) and representatives from 3 rd sector organisations.
The CMHT MDT support each other, using each members skills, knowledge and experience collectively to ensure the service user receives what they need to help their recovery. The CMHT MDT convenes daily through morning meetings and a larger weekly MDT meeting, ensuring opportunity for CMHT members to receive support and advice from each other.
