Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Administrator with strong administration and computing skills to join our friendly and supportive Community Nursing Team.
The Hospice Community Nursing Teams provide palliative care support to adult patients and the people that are important to them at home.
This role is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week 9am to 5pm and is based at the hospice in Brentry. Although this role is being advertised as a part-time position, full time opportunities would be considered.

Daily tasks include -

  • Talking to patients, families, and health professionals on the phone
  • Completing outcomes from clinicians
  • Accepting and processing referrals into the service
  • Using EMIS Electronic Patient Record
  • Using Microsoft Office word, outlook and excel
  • Updating our rostering system

Applicants should be excellent communicators and must have the ability to deal efficiently with the general public, NHS colleagues and other health and social care providers. In addition, it is a necessity that applicants have a high standard of IT skills, have a positive approach to customer care and be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Applicants must be flexible and willing to cover weekends and bank holidays to cover any absence within the team.
