Responsibilities:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Catholic Charities at outreach and community events/meetings.
  • Coordinate in-kind donations, out-of-agency fundraisers/drives, and Undy Sunday.
  • Conduct outreach at all Catholic Charities Mobile Food Pantry distributions.
  • Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct outreach at Mobile Food Pantry distributions and serve as the onsite Mobile Food Pantry manager when necessary.
  • Ensure that all in-kind donations are accepted, processed, documented, and distributed according to Agency standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with in-kind donors.
  • Demonstrate a high comfort level working with staff, volunteers, and donors.
  • Meet regularly with the Division Director of Communications and Advancement concerning outreach and in-kind donations.
  • Organize, consult, and advise donors on developing and implementing events and projects that benefit the Agency, including fundraisers, donation drives, etc.
  • Comply with the department’s applicable sections of all accreditation standards.
  • Attend all Agency fundraising events and actively engage participants, especially those to whom they are assigned.
  • Represent the Agency at functions and meetings, including but not limited to the local Chamber of Commerce meetings/events, church events/meetings (St. Vincent de Paul, CCW, Men’s Clubs, etc.), school boards, finance boards, civic club meetings, etc.
  • Cultivate and engage new donors and volunteers.
  • Meet regularly with the Division Director of Communications and Advancement.
