As a Community Relations Advisor, you’ll provide communications and engagement advice, planning, and delivery for Tauranga City Council projects that are transforming our city.
Our purpose is to go further than just communicating with our communities. In our team you will tell the stories that matter, create content people want to engage with, and ensure all our residents and ratepayers can share their views and aspirations.
We are a diverse and passionate bunch who work hard to put the community at the heart of everything we do.
This is a fixed-term role to cover maternity leave.

Day to day you will be:

• Providing communications support and guidance to project teams across council
• Developing and implementing communications plans and activities
• Crafting content for online and social media channels
• Drafting media releases and responding to media enquiries
• Working with our creative and digital team to produce top notch design collateral
