ABOUT THE ROLE

Community Service receives funding and grants to deliver programs that support members of our community which could be through state or federal agencies. This position will be responsible for the project development and implementation of such programs to support community members. This will include:

• Engage with the development of the program for the community members that meet the expectations of the funding bodies
• Build community awareness of the program and services within Orange
• Network with local service providers, NGOs, community organisations and educators to provide a range of activities and programs as required
• Engage with a range of community groups in volunteering, programs, events and activities
• Work as an effective member of Community Services section by contributing to a flexible, supportive, team-focused work environment

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Diploma of Community Services / Project Management or similar qualification
• Current Class C drivers’ licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal record chec
