Pay: $47.44 - $71.16 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience
Summary:
Leads team members by demonstrating advanced knowledge of job responsibilities. Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services to patients.
Responsibilities:
Provides mentoring and evaluation of staff. Assists with prioritizing workflow and evaluation of policies and procedures.
Obtains patient history and performs assessment via observation, interview, and examination. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Credentials:Essential:
• Nurse Practitioner
• Physician Assistant
• Basic Life Support
• Registered Nurse
• Other information:Minimum Required Education: Master’s degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with specialization in area of practice - OR - Completion of a accredited program for Physician Assistants.Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant state licensure. Medical staff membership with appropriate prescriptive authority. Allied Health credentialing through Medical Staff Services office. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. If NP: Certification by ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).Minimum Experience: 3 years of Advanced Practice experience.
• IF APPLICABLE: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
