Reporting into a visionary Head of People, the role of Compensation & Benefits Lead with Payroll responsibility is a newly created office based role working in the Lincoln region.

Brief Description of the job:
The Compensation, Benefits and Payroll position is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with an inspirational visionary Head of HR whilst taking full responsibility for creating, implementing and leading a comprehensive compensation and benefits process ensuring that the business is in the best possible position to attract and retain the talent that is needed to deliver their operational commitments.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the HD of HR and the Senior Leadership Team to define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that aligns with the company’s strong people values and company goals. Taking full responsibility to lead and process payroll from end to end for the business.
Ensuring that the companies group compensation and benefits practices are in compliance with current UK legislation using modern technology, key tools and techniques to make data-based decisions.
Participate in salary bench-marking surveys to better understand pay rates and benefits and ensure the organisation is competitive.
Implement new ideas and methods to continually seek new ways to improve contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
Previous experience of implementing new payroll into HR software, knowledge of salary related legislation and employment law
Must have experience carrying out and processing a full payroll function.
Accurately and timely processing company pension contributions and implementing new company benefits
Using Pento system calculating summary reports for Inland Revenue, processing P45’s, P60’s, P11D’s and preparing total reward statements (TRS)
Reviewing absence reports and providing relevant data for HR
