Interested in working for a company that sets the standard and leads with integrity? Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.

About the Team:
The Compensation team develops and oversees CrowdStrike’s compensation programs which ultimately reinforce the company’s business strategy, drive exceptional performance, and put us at the forefront of attracting and retaining the best possible talent. Because to be the best cybersecurity company in the world, we need the best talent which requires the
world’s best compensation programs. And being the best means we’re never at rest. We are constantly innovating, automating, designing, and redesigning. We are trusted advisors to business leaders and valued partners across HR. As members of the HR function, we ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time. We’re always looking for ways to improve performance to continue propelling the company forward. We create an environment in which people innovate. We recognize employee potential and know how to leverage it. We’re an integral part of every business decision.
About the Role:
The Compensation Manager will play a lead role in the development and management of these programs. The role begins with primary ownership of one or multiple groups and the ability to independently handle typical day-to-day operations. Over the course of the role, group ownership will evolve into larger more complex groups and independence will grow to include higher-stress and higher-stakes scenarios. At this level it’s all about building and expanding your brand. You’ll work primarily with your own groups but will need to expand your horizons to other areas to keep marketing yourself as the go-to subject matter expert. With subject matter expertise solidifying and starting to plateau, soft skills and leadership development will become increasingly more important for continued success. Responsibilities are listed below.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and communication of executive compensation programs.
  • Lead the development and ongoing improvement of compensation committee materials.
  • Lead the planning, prepping, launching, running, reviewing, and closing out of the annual merit cycle.
  • Lead the annual comprehensive market analysis which informs compensation ranges and budgets.
  • Ownership of one or multiple business / HRBP groups with eventual shift to large and complex groups.
  • Continue to master storytelling with data and presentation capabilities.
  • Creation and orchestration of incentive programs which drive performance and align with our values.
  • Independently evaluate new hire, merit, and/or out-of-cycle equity requests to solidify expertise.
  • Support ongoing efforts to ensure pay practices remain compliant and equitable.

What You’ll Need:

  • Ideally 8+ years of Compensation experience. Consulting, Finance, Accounting, or a related field also works.
  • Spreadsheet expert. Strong proficiency with MS Excel or Google Sheets is a must and will be tested with a case.
  • Proficient with slides. Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint or Google Slides is ideal but can be taught.
  • Exceptional analytical skills. We work with large datasets regularly and often need to find patterns or trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills. We lead meetings and present regularly, so practicing to get comfortable is a must.
  • Exceptional project management. The company moves at a fast pace and the volume of projects can be high at times.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Passionate about CRWD. We live and breathe our mission to protect customers from breaches and we’re the best at it.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior Compensation experience at a publicly-traded high-tech organization.
  • Proficiency with VBA, Python, or other coding languages that can transform our automation capabilities.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Exec Comp (CECP), and/or Equity (CEP).
