Competency Enhancement Specialist [1 Year Contract]

Play a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional quality and ongoing professional development of financial advisors, as a Competency Enhancement Specialist. You will be responsible for the oversight of various aspects of advisor education, continuous professional development (CPD), competency assessments, and training compliance within the sales force.
My client is a leading insurance provider whom is actively growing their workforce and seeking for a Competency Enhancement Specialist.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. Diploma Holder
• 1-2 years of experience in insurance or financial advisory, with background in Audit, Training & Competency (T&C), or Distribution Compliance preferred.
• Proficient in Excel spreadsheet skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Basic knowledge in IT.
• Strong evaluation, training, and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and possess team-player mindset.

• Conduct regular Competency Reviews to uphold organization standards e.g. supervision quality, coaching effectiveness etc.
• Ensure the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) progress of the entire sales force to is compliant with annual requirements.
• Evaluate the educational qualifications of potential advisors, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Review and revise the Fact Find document in alignment with industry requirements.
• Utilize Excel extensively for various reporting and data analysis purposes.
• Conduct relevant training sessions and briefings for advisors on compliance, regulatory, and industry standards.
