JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank is hiring a Complaint Response Review Specialist for our mortgage and consumer servicing business line. Primarily the day to day will be in quality assurance reviewing verbal and written complaint responses to help ensure accuracy and communicate any gaps. We are ideally seeking an individual with case management/complaints experience who can self-manage deadlines and is adaptable to change. This individual will need to have strong written communication and attention to detail reviewing responses in the complaint system of record to help ensure there are no regulatory concerns. Acts as the primary compliance consultant/resource for assigned location, business units, or products with respect to questions, consulting, and training. Analyzes new and pending laws and regulations which directly affect company practices and works with affected areas to ensure appropriate compliance. May be involved in a variety of compliance projects and initiatives regarding information disclosure, legal proceedings, etc. Performs periodic reviews to assess level of regulatory compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically one to two years of related experience, preferably in regulatory compliance activitie

  • Basic knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies and procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneousl

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE OFFICE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS AT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

  • Owensboro, KY
  • Saint Paul, MN
  • Fargo, ND
