Description:
There is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and energetic individual to join our HR & Compliance team at PAK’nSAVE Glen Innes as a Compliance Administrator. This exciting opportunity focuses majority on Food Safety, involving assisting the HR & Compliance Manager to develop, implement, coordinate and educate on Food Safety practices, programs and initiatives across the Store.
Responsibilities:
- Audit all areas of the Store on a regular basis to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations and issue corrective actions where appropriate.
- Prepare and assist during Food Safety Internal and External Audits
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all departments, through education, training and working with Managers’ and teams alongside the HR & Compliance Manager
- Ensure appropriate checks (surface swabs, food sampling, temperature checks) are undertaken on a regular basis and in line with Food Safety requirements.
- Liaise appropriately with external regulatory bodies and Retail support team within Foodstuffs to ensure all systems and processes are up to date and legally compliant.
- Maintain and update as required all food safety systems within the Store.
- Follow up customer complaints and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Collect department records of traceability and follow up if not completed appropriately with Department Managers’
- Run monthly Food Safety meetings and ensure appropriately recorded and saved.
- Undertake all administrative tasks related to Food Safety
- Organize and facilitate compliance-based trainings to ensure knowledge from beginning of employment.
