KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience withing the property industry would be beneficial as would working within a busy contact centre environment, where telephony-based contact is at the front of the customer experience.
This role requires a prominent level of telephone communication and back-office processing where diligence is paramount A reasonable understanding of GDPR and AML regulations is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent telephone manner and confidence with telephone-based communication.
- Effective communication skills both written and spoken.
- The capability to make considered decisions based on risk.
- Have experience with objection handling and resolving complex issues.
- Demonstrate excellent levels of customer service.
- The ability to work as part of a Strong Team and have a high level of self-motivation.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines and manage your own workload effectively to achieve KPIs.

Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE AS A COMPLIANCE ADVISOR
As a Compliance Advisor you will be part of the Know your Customer Team responsible for collaborating with our Partner Estate Agents, Sellers, and Buyers. The responsibility of the role is to ensure that identification and due diligence checks are complete on all Sellers and Buyers to mitigate risk and comply with the anti-money laundering function of our business before a property is listed for sale or purchase.
- You will engage and support our clients through the compliance process by phone or email ensuring that Identification checks are completed within our SLA.
- You will deal effectively with risk profile outcomes, ensuring a prompt review and resolution to any concerns.
- You will ensure HMRC guidelines and IAMSOLDS, Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
- You will report any suspicious activity or High-Risk files to the Reporting Circle, always maintaining confidentiality.
- You will provide guidance to colleagues in relation to any queries and concerns as well as supporting Business Support and Administration teams as needed.
- You will report promptly to the Compliance Team Leader any failings in the Compliance processes or procedures.
- You will actively participate in meetings when required to review updates on regulatory changes, identify risks, consider unusual anti-money laundering situations, and agree solutions and ways forward.
