The Role:
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and enhancing our security posture by ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of cybersecurity and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to client security questionnaires by providing accurate and detailed information regarding the organization’s security practices, controls, and compliance status.
- Assist in regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701), and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps and recommend remediation measures.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, including policies, risk assessments, and audit reports.
- Stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Participate in security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding and some working experience with information security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with relevant compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role.
