Description:

COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Responsible for monitoring customer activity and ensuring Anti-Money Laundering, Safer Gambling and Know Your Customer policies are achieved at Operational level.
Reporting to the Compliance Operations Manager, the role will conduct day-to-day monitoring and identification of customers, ensuring speedy escalation when high levels of risk are identified.
The role has a strong sense of responsibility to protect the company and stakeholders from inherent risk caused by fraud and error whilst ensuring the company’s ability to transact freely as well as protect customers who show signs and behaviours of problem gambling.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor customer activity for fraudulent activity
  • Check and process online withdrawals in a fast and efficient manner
  • Verify KYC documents
  • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence reviews and request appropriate documentation
  • Review alerts as part of the company’s PEPs and Sanctions screening
  • Daily assessment of AML reports relating to potential suspicious activity
  • Ensure timely and efficient reporting of transactions considered suspicious
  • Review customer activity to determine if they are at risk of problem gambling
  • Respond to Safer Gambling emails and queries
  • Conduct Safer Gambling interactions
  • Ensure proper record keeping of collated data
  • Stay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviours, industry best practices and developing Safer Gambling trends.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • An ability to communicate succinctly and clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong documentation and analytic skills
  • Being proactive in AML matters (updates, training, news, projects, suggestions)
  • Able to work autonomously while ensuring the Compliance Manager and the team are updated
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and collaborative team
  • An understanding of AML regulatory framework
  • An understanding of Social Responsibility guidance
  • Accuracy and amazing attention to detail
  • Able to work in a high volume work environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU
