Description:

As a compliance and investigations officer you will manage the risk of spectrum interference and other harms to the Australian community and work to support community safeguards in relation to the supply of radiocommunications equipment and the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure. We play a key role in the development and delivery of the ACMA’s compliance priority programs which target key areas which can cause harm or have a negative impact on the community for improved industry compliance.
In this role you will investigate complaints, write investigation reports, and pursue enforcement and compliance with industry codes of practice, standards, and legislation. Prepare advice and legislative instruments including statutory notices and warrant applications; undertake audit activities. Liaise with internally and with external stakeholders and manage own workload, with limited supervision and show resilience to achieve team objectives, including competing priorities.
