Description:

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONYOU WILL:

  • Develop, implement and lead a program of work to detect and assess potential non-compliance with the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2005, including interaction with operational and enforcement elements of the organisation;
  • use your knowledge and experience of the contract cleaning industry and leading compliance work to deliver the program, implementing effective processes for work planning, resource allocation, and prioritisation of effort based on intelligence and data-driven assessment of risk;
  • provide updates, advice, and reporting on program status;
  • build and sustain positive relationships with your team and internal stakeholders, and effectively engage with external stakeholders to achieve regulatory and compliance outcomes;
  • provide authoritative analysis and advice to the Executive Leadership Team on potential regulatory compliance issues, data analysis and investigation trends, including coordination and/or preparation of reports, briefing notes, memorandums;
  • provide direction, technical guidance and leadership to your program team, including ensuring that effective processes are in place for team performance assessment and capability development;
  • any other tasks as directed.
    This position reports to the Director Technology, Data and Strategic Projects and leads a small team.

What we are looking for For this role, candidates are required to have:

  • knowledge and demonstrated experience of the contract cleaning industry and understanding of the issues and risks within the sector (this is a mandatory requirement, applicants without experience within the Contract Cleaning Industry will not be shortlisted for consideration)
  • demonstrated knowledge and skills leading compliance programs, including the ability to establish clear plans for delivery and accountability for execution and quality of results
  • knowledge and experience in developing risk based regulatory and compliance programs, and ability to embed a data-led approach to identifying and managing non-compliance
  • ability to proactively manage, monitor and report on program schedules, risks, issues, interdependencies and key performance indicators, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility and escalation
  • ability to communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner for a variety of audiences, both in writing and verbally
  • people management skills, including experience fostering a work environment that encourages a skilled, motivated and productive team.

Prior experience working in Contract Cleaning Industry is mandatory for this role.
