In the UK, we now have over 1.6M registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus.
We are looking for an exceptional Compliance Associate, based in Hungary, to join our global team. In this role you will work with colleagues in Hungary, the UK and Sweden across a wide range of compliance activities, supporting our oversight of the business and helping to ensure that we deliver good outcomes to our customers.

You will:

• Work with colleagues across the business to help ensure that they meet regulatory requirements and deliver good customer outcomes
• Support the delivery of Freetrade’s Risk Framework and Compliance programme and help identify areas of regulatory risk across the business
• Help execute our programme of Compliance reviews of our business and undertake testing of controls
• Operate and deliver key Compliance training, processes and controls
• Support the firm’s governance arrangements and help produce the Compliance and Risk teams’ reporting to senior global committees
• Review and update policies and processes to confirm they comply with regulations in the UK and across Europe
• Support the team with researching answers to regulatory questions from across the firm
• Build your knowledge and become an expert in compliance regulations in regions we operate
• Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to work on business projects, including providing regulatory and compliance advice on the development of new products

About you:

• You are a recent graduate or have less than three years experience within financial services, law, consultancy or another relevant role
• You have excellent English language skills
• You want to work hard and make an impact and you are looking for a role which can expand and broaden over time
• You would like the opportunity to grow and develop in a fast moving company, where you can learn skills and take on new responsibilities
• You are interested in financial services regulation and are passionate about delivering good outcomes to customers
• You want to work in an international team
• You are local in Hungary

Logistics:
The application process consists of a 5 stage process. You will initially have an interview with one of our internal Talent Specialists. Followed by a call with our Director of Compliance, a task, values based interview and final stage with our founders.
