Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the role will include but is not limited to: • Work with HR and Care Department to ensure all compliance and Vi-Clarity Audit checklists are up to date. Liaising with Management and the team as required, to ensure targets are met. • Schedule CAREGiver orientation and all training, including training required to meet Home Instead Standards and additional optional training. Set up training room and make necessary arrangements as needed. • Assist Care CoOrdination Team on our internal monitoring system on a daily basis ensuring all CAREGivers are clocking IN/OUT as required and ensuring our duty of care and that all issues are referred in UNIQUE IQ timely and follow up if deemed necessary. Exceptions to be cleared daily. • Assist Recruitment/HR teams in Monitoring and developing CAREGivers files, e.g. pull reports to ensure Patient Manual Handling and Garda Vetting are kept up to date, Perform reference checks etc. • Assist Care Co Ordination team in the organisation of rotas and staffing requirements on People Planner from time to time or in busy periods. • Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter within the deadline. Assist with CAREGiver engagement strategy as required. • General admin including Photocopying, Scanning, printing and preparing Client and CAREGiver folders etc. • Office oversight – Open and closing the office Monday to Friday as required. Answering of office phone and redirecting calls as appropriate. Ensuring the office is well maintained, clean and presentable. Respond and attend to any walk-in clients, CAREGivers or visitors. • Manage and take responsibility for the health and safety of the office ensuring all is in order and as required in terms of legislation. Act as the health & safety officer. • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary. • Cover of out of hours emergency phone on rotation basis.
