Job Description
As our Compliance Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed compliance standards. You’ll work closely with our management team to coordinate compliance activities, implement company policies, and uphold our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving our safety and sustainability targets, making a tangible impact on our environment and community.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Investigate and document hazards, incidents, and unsafe acts, ensuring thorough investigations and inspections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to track compliance activities and performance.
- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, facilitating staff training as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for site and operational managers regarding HSEQ matters.
- Coordinate and deliver toolbox talks to promote safety awareness and best practices.
- Develop and implement site-specific HSEQ plans to address unique challenges and opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Chemistry or Environmental Science Degree or relevant qualifications highly desirable
- Experience: Preferable to have experience in production, manufacturing, or waste treatment industry.
- An eye for detail and someone who is highly organised.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships.
