Responsibilities:
- Provide legal and practical guidance and support to management and consultants in compliance areas including Medicaid regulations.
- Take a lead role in compliance investigations and monitoring activities.
- Advise on company policies.
- Manage outside counsel in compliance matters and litigation.
- Draft and review contracts with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, vendors, and others.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Specialized knowledge and experience in Medicaid regulations and other relevant compliance areas.
- Excellent legal and legal writing skills.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Law degree and bar membership.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an attorney.
- Experience that reflects the diverse responsibilities of the position.
- Employment experience with state or federal Medicaid agency preferred.
